This is the work I did for my Photography degree at Roehampton University for the Spring term. I was influenced by the work of Banksy and other street artists to try something different and wanted to do something more political, especially as being a student the politics are kind of against us at the moment.
It’s a series of five A1 sized photographs that I took of me putting up photoshopped posters of David Cameron and Nick Clegg around the Deptford area of south-east London.
It’s something I feel quite strongly about as well as I’ve come from quite a poor single parent background that seems to be more and more common these days, and sometimes benefits are the only way to get by.
I thought I’d just share it with you’s because some of you might find it interesting, and I don’t post much of my own work on Tumblr at the moment!
